Just browse our catalogue and click on “add to cart” any items that you wish to buy then put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on cart image in the menu and your selections will be displayed. You can either checkout or review your basket from here. Your card will be charged at the time you place your order. If you are placing your first order with us, an account will be created for you at the same time, please review our Privacy Policy
We accept VISA and Mastercard (credit or debit) only, we DO NOT accept Diners Club or American Express. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to Pounds Sterling from your own currency.
Backorder
Popular items may sell out quickly and temporarily be on back order. This means that the items are currently out of stock, but our manufacturing facility is producing more. Ordering an item that is currently on back order is a worry-free way to ensure that you will be first in line for the new inventory and that the item which you ordered will be sent out to you as soon it becomes available.
- Items you order in addition to the back ordered item will be held back.
- The back ordered items in any order will automatically ship out as soon as we receive the item in the order which they were placed.
- You will be notified via a shipment confirmation email (and a tracking number) once your back ordered items have shipped. You will not need to contact customer support or do anything to follow up on the back ordered item.

The weight of your order is automatically calculated and the shipping charge is worked out based on your delivery destination.

If you wish to order from us and you require shipping to one of these countries, please email sales@leonpaul.com for further information. We are happy to offer assistance in all circumstances.
Collection in store
If you select 'Collect in our North London store (NW9 6AQ)' your order should be available for collection after 2 working days. If an item is out of stock or not available, we will contact you as soon as possible. The order can only be collected during shop opening hours. If after you select the option to collect an order in store you decide to have it shipped, then shipping fees will be payable.
Damaged goods
If for any reason the package arrives damaged please check the contents before you sign for it and REFUSE the parcel if anything is damaged or missing. Once you have refused the parcel it will automatically be returned to Leon Paul and we will be able to redeliver the order. Once you sign for the item you are agreeing that you have received the package in good condition and we are then unable to claim from the shipping company if items have become lost or damaged in transit. Leon Paul cannot take responsibility if part of a package is missing or damaged once it has been signed for by the customer.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
If goods are in stock, we will despatch them within 1 - 3 working days. We do our very best to ensure that your order is despatched as soon as possible, but you may find that while some orders arrive the next working day others will take longer. Some items have to be manufactured to order and can take 2 - 3 weeks to be completed before they are shipped. You will be sent an email notifying you when your order has been despatched. This email will include tracking information if the selected delivery method is a tracked service. Packet post is a budget shipping option and as such is untracked Royal Mail First Class Post. Customers from the UK who select this option should expect their parcel in 1 - 3 working days and Export customers using this service will receive their parcel in 3 - 10 working days. Please note, orders placed between 2pm GMT on Friday and 8am on Monday will not ship until Monday at 5pm at the earliest as we are closed on weekends.
CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel your order you can do so and receive a full refund up until the point that the order ships. Leon Paul reserve the right to cancel and refund orders if a product is discontinued or it becomes impossible to obtain stock. Whilst we make every effort to ensure prices on the website are accurate Leon Paul reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if there has been a typographical error. Placing an order via the website does not constitute a legally binding contract to supply.
TAX CHARGES
VAT (Value Added Tax) is applicable for all orders delivered to countries within the EU this is charged at a rate of 20%. Due to the fact that a large portion of our internet orders are for export, prices are displayed both with and without VAT in Pounds Sterling by default, this can be changed to VAT prices only or Ex VAT prices only using the tax changer in the site header. All orders to be delivered outside the EU including the orders to the US, Canada, Australia Etc... are VAT free. VAT will be automatically deducted from your order when you select your shipping destination during checkout. If you are ordering from outside the EU then you may be charged tax by your own government and usually, this is at a rate of about 5%. For orders to the USA under $200 no tax will be charged. For orders to Australia, anything over $1000 AUD will be charged import tax by the Australian government. If you do not wish to be charged tax it is your own responsibility to ensure that you keep your order below the threshold for taxation in the destination country. We are unable to split orders into multiple packages so if you do wish to avoid tax you will have to place multiple orders ensuring that each one is below the threshold for taxation in the destination country.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
Once you enter the area of the site where credit card information has to be submitted you will be transferred to a SECURE server. You will see https:// at the beginning of the web address in your toolbar rather than http:// signifying that the area is secure. These pages are encrypted with 128-bit encryption and are GUARANTEED 100% SECURE. There is no way for a third party to read the information.
GUARANTEE
All our products are guaranteed for 28 days minimum. If a product fails outside this period and you consider it to be substandard please contact us and we will consider replacing it at no charge. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our equipment and if you feel that anything you receive is not up to the high standards you expect from Leon Paul then please contact us at sales@leonpaul.com and we will be happy to try to help you. When considering returning a pair of shoes please note that many fencing shoes are designed to protect the area which is damaged when a fencer over lunges and rolls the foot causing the side or upper surface of the shoe to slide across the floor. These protective areas are designed to minimise damage from occasional accidental overextended lunges. Repeated overextended lunges where the side or top of the shoe is dragged along the floor will cause damage to the shoe which is not covered by the warranty. When considering returning a bag please note that when in transit the best way to ensure your bag does not get damaged by airport bag handlers is to take the top bag off and store it inside the bag. It fits neatly inside the smaller weapon compartment. If it does not fit in the bag when you have fully loaded the likelihood is you will be over the maximum weight for the bag so it may get broken in transit and you should check it as 2 separate bags. Leon Paul is NOT responsible for bags that are damaged by the bag being mistreated. If an airline does break your bag in transit, please claim on your travel insurance or from the airline
BANK AND CREDIT CARD CHARGES
The prices on the website are shown in Pounds Sterling if you place an order using a foreign credit or debit card your bank may issue charges. Leon Paul cannot be held responsible for any foreign transaction fees incurred.
PRIVACY POLICY
Leon Paul do not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Cookies are used on this site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Leon Paul does not store any of your financial information.
RETURNS POLICY
All goods (exception apply see below for customised items) may be returned for a refund or exchange within 28 days of purchase provided that a copy of the receipt is included and the merchandise is UNUSED, and in its original condition and packaging. If the wrong size is ordered, then exchanges can be made but shipping costs are at the customer’s expense. Leon Paul cannot be held responsible for items being returned to us that are lost in transit to us so please ensure you use a secure insured method of delivery. For returns from outside the UK there may be an import fee (charged by the UK government) for goods being returned to the UK however; this is only incurred if you state the value of the goods being returned. It is very simple to avoid the fee, all returned goods must be clearly marked as RETURNS with a value of less than £20 and they will be exempt from any import charges. Likewise, when we despatch exchanges we will mark them as returns to ensure you don't pay any import fees.
Customised items. All items with names printed cannot be returned UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, this includes, garments, masks and bags. Only select naming on your clothing and masks if you are 100% sure that it will fit. For instance, if you have previously owned the same size of item in the same range from Leon Paul. Please note that very occasionally small amounts of overspray can land on the jacket or lame, this is unusual but unavoidable and when it does happen it washes out within the first couple of washes. We cannot be held responsible for overspray and every effort is made to avoid it.
