BFA Membership:

Fencers must be members of British Fencing, Scottish Fencing, WAFU, NIAFU or BAF membership. PLEASE NOTE, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JOIN ON THE DAY. MEMBERSHIP FORMS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE BFA WEBSITE www.britishfencing.com. Please allow 10 days for the application to be cleared.

Equipment Requirement:

All fencers must wear correct kit in accordance with current BFA clothing regulations including, according to weapon, breeches, long socks, plastrons, and masks with back straps. The organisers reserve the right to reject the kit of any fencer on safety grounds.

Directions to venue:

The venue is a five minute Taxi ride from Durham (Main line) Rail Station. By car, from A1(M) , leave at Bowburn and follow A177 North through Bowburn and Shincliffe: after you pass over a small river bridge, the entrance to the Sports Centre is 200 yards further on the right. For Multimap, see:

1st 2nd 3rd and 4th place medals, and certificates for all athletes.

Additional information:

It is planned that a personal armourer will be present, and Leon Paul will be invited to have a stand at the event. The venue has car parking, showers, a gallery overlooking the main hall, a Cafeteria, and Bar (selling sandwiches snacks and drinks). If you wish to have confirmation of entry please enclose SAE.
