Our show room and despatch department hold larger stocks than any other fencing equipment supplier in the UK. We have repair facilities on site and experts at hand at all times to help. We produce the largest range of fencing equipment in the world. Over 800 products many of which are exclusive to Leon Paul as we invented them!

Our clothing was specially selected to be used in the Latest James Bond Film and has featured in countless other films, adverts and theatre productions. We have the largest parts stock and try to retain at least 100 of each different weapon part available at all times. Dispatched items are scanned using bar-codes and if we have your email address you will receive a mail with the parcel consignment number when it is despatched.
All the latest equipment including 4 ranges of footwear from 3 manufacturers. Most retailers stock 3 or 4 types of mask we have 14 meaning you are sure to find the perfect mask for your needs and budget. All our equipment has been CEN certified and we are able to supply copies of the certificates. You would be surprised at some UK distributors inability to provide you with their certification. Masks finishing is s skilled combination of tailoring and hand assembly. The finishing process is done in teams of 3 and all masks finished to the same high standard.
Mask mesh is robotically spot welded for increased consistency and strength. Each blade that comes out of the forge is robotically ground a minimum of 12 times with increasingly fine grit ensuring the removal of any surface and giving the longest possible life. This rolling welder is used to attach out stainless steel mask shells together. We now only use stainless steel for our mask shells as it is far harder wearing and does not oxidise. This press facility is used for the manufacture of our guards. All our guards are made in the UK from sheet aluminium guaranteing the best levels of consistency and durability.
35 plus people working here full time, two of whom have represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games. There are very few forges in the world.Our latest independant FIE test results broke several records for durability. Showing that the Leon Paul forge is probably the best and most consistent in the world. We manufacture more types of blade than any other company each type is designed to suit a different fencing style and level of experience. Much of the machinery was designed and built by Barry Paul and our blade plant manager Peter Thorning and is totally unique to Len Paul.
This huge RF heater generated the power needed to heat steel at room temperature to 800 degrees celsius in under 3 seconds! The forge contains four electrically powered hammers. Our despatch department ships and average of 55 parcels per day to destinations all over the world. Even our microprocessor apparatus are assembled on site.
