Leon Paul is the only British manufacture of fencing equipment. We make over 90% off our products in London and employ over 30 people. Our state of the art 15,000 square foot factory is situated minutes from both the M1 and the North Circular making it easy to find. Our headquarters is the only fencing company in Europe that has, mask manufacturing, tailoring and blade forging all under one roof. This gives us a massive advantage over our competitors who they rely on outsourcing large portions of there manufacturing to developing nations to save money. This means that the quality can vary greatly and that specialist equipment tailored to customers needs cannot be meet.

Leon Paul was established in 1921 and are the only fencing manufacture run by Olympic fencers! The knowledge we have of real fencing means that we understand what is needed and what can be improved to make fencing better! Leon Paul has designed more ground breaking fencing products than any other fencing company.

Even though Leon Paul is a relatively small business we still recognise our responsibility to the environment and made strives to reduce our environmental impact. We have been working on three key areas, these are: Packaging, Energy Consumption and Social Responsibility. All our boxes are made from recycled cardboard and a majority of our clothing is now packaged in plastic bags that are made from recycled material.
Leon Paul run one of the only automated forges in the world, but the processes of heating steel to the required forgetting temperature uses large amounts of power. Excess heat from the machines are removed using water cooling. This water is then used to heat the building. When we do have to outsource production we strive to ensure that we never import or buy goods that have been produced in unethical ways. For example in 2004 we source the first uk company that produced organic, fair trade t-shirts in the country and they now produce our t-shirts. Buying from Tonic increased the cost of the standard T-shirt but ensured that the products we buy in our made in an ethical way.
