All weapons supplied with starter kits are shipped fully mounted tested and ready to use. A Leon Paul Epee bodywire is also included as standard will all Epee kits.

All Paul Maraging Blades are size 5 (14 years and over) only but a choice of handles is available in the next step. For guidance on blade size please see below. French Grips are one size only and if you would like a pistol grip please order according to glove size.



The Lightest most durable FIE epee blade in the world made from low carbon Maraging steel. A unique patented design allows us to cold forge these blades greatly reducing defects in the steel and giving the greatest lifespan of any Epee blade. After the blade is formed we shock blast the blades by hand which increases the surface density and removes any external flaws. The blade is then heat treated at 225 degrees for 55 minuets which hardens the steel. Each blade is then tested by hand and the flexibility of the blade measured. This means you can choose a blade with the stiffness that suits your fencing style. This blade, on average achieves 17,000 bending cycles on our FIE testing machine. This blade also holds the FIE world record surviving the longest on its bending machine. The V formed FIE Epee blade is also incredibly light coming in under 150g.

This Epee grip is cast from solid Aluminium and is the same as our Foil grip ref: 85 handle but without the insulation.



Standard 6mm threaded nut for 1/4 inch alan key (6mm keys will also fit)



These traditional French grips have a curved shape to follow the contours of the hand for a perfect fit. The leather is bonded to the core with tough flexible resin glue that will last for years. The surface of the grip is treated with a "tackifying" solution which makes it extremely grippy and the absorbent surface of the leather means that it retains its grip even when damp from perspiration. The handle is finished with a friction fit aluminium feral at each end that provides a solid surface for mounting. These handles are for use with a long tang blade and a pommel.



110 gram, 6mm Threaded pommel, can be tightened with a 6mm or 1/4" allen key This Pommel will provide the perfect counterbalance for a full sized Epee.

This pad is made from a waterproof PVC layer over a foam core. Unlike the fibre pads sold by other manufacturers it will not fray, leak colour or absorb sweat.
