Please Note that sizing is not the same as adidas fencing shoes, which run very narrow, these shoes are roughly equivalent to a normal court or running shoe so you should order your normal trainer size.

Many fencing shoes are design to protect the area which is damaged when a fencer over lunges and rolls the foot causing the side or upper surface of the shoe to slide across the floor. These protective areas are designed to minimise damage from occasional accidental over extended lunges. Repeated overextended lunges where the side or top of the shoe is dragged along the floor will cause damage to the shoe which is not covered by the warranty.
