    All weapons supplied with starter kits are shipped fully mounted tested and ready to use. Please click the tabs below for pictures of the parts used to mount the weapon that ships with this kit and an example of the electric version can be seen on the right of the tabs.

    There is a choice of blade size available in the next two steps. For guidance on blade size please see below. All weapons shipped with kits come with our Leather Sabre grip.

      Blade size:
    • Size 5 for people 14 years and over
    • Size 2 for people 10 - 14 years in the UK



    FIE approved maraging blade. Maraging steel is made specially for us in Sheffield and lasts around 5 times longer than the sprung steel of other blades. Supplied fully wired with Leon Paul TiN tip.



    Solid Aluminium handle that comes with our Gryptonite crinkle coating for maximum grip,



    110 gram, 6mm Threaded pommel, can be tightened with a 6mm or 1/4" allen key This Pommel will provide the perfect counterbalance for a full sized foil. French grip electric Foils come with the insulated version pictured and non-electric Foils come with an uninsulated version.



    Our most popular Sabre guard, the Hungarian style is now considered the norm. The guard is made from 1.2mm thick hardened aluminium with an additional aluminium reinforcement riveted on where the tang meets the guard. This guard is non insulated and suitable for Non-electric Sabres only.

    With S2000 blades some fencers are having injuries caused by contact with their opponents guard. The S89 pad is made from special 10mm thick high density impact absorbing foam. The foam is designed to have very good pressure distribution and energy absorption properties. Any impact of the thumb against the guard and the force is distributed over a wide area, which dissipates the energy without causing injury.



    Bayonet Inside guard socket. Push and twist to lock bayonet design means perfect contact to eliminate white lights. Also it is almost impossible for it to fall out during play. (The system works like a light bulb fitting. To insert the plug you have to push it all the way into the socket and then twist to lock. To remove the plug you should push before you twist to minimise wear to the plug.
